I wish this book had been around 30 years ago!! No need to buy any diet books, this is astounding.No fad dieting, common sense, sound advice and simple techniques to help me change my relationship to food forever. All this with a CD to reinforce my new attitude. This book has done something which nothing else has. I'm free of food!!!!!

I read a magazine article on you can be thin and thought a little bit about it and the useful techniques it suggested. I started visualising all the food I indulged in (that was causing my weight problem)in its rawest form ie: chocolate as milk turning into cream and then fat etc and it really gave me the ability to choose not to eat it. Two weeks later I realised that when I thought of chocolate I no longer associated feelings of pleasure - I felt totally indifferent to it! That has taken 40 years to achieve. When out shopping today i saw Marisas book and 2 hours later I am half way through it. I cant wait to get to the CD. XX

I must have read them all and tried them all! This book has completely opened me up.Ive realised why i over eat,which was like opening Pandoras box,but needed doing.It has made me stop and think every time i open my mouth,i will now think about eating in a totally different way.I only finished it last night so i cant tell you ive lost a stone since reading it but somehow i know it will be easier from now on.I suffer from chronic allergic rhinitis and this book has also given me advice on changing my diet to help it.I finally think ive conquered chocolate!! I will also NOT be drinking cows milk again,im put off for life.Dont waste your money on books full of recipes you'll never cook.This is a really good read and definately gives you your moneys worth.Fascinating and illuminating from start to finish.

As a serial comfort eater and also emotional eater I have struggled everyday of my life to "be good". Working in an office that is always full of cakes, chocolates, sweets and biscuits after a few minutes of saying no I would lose my willpower very quickly! Food was always on my mind, after Id finished one meal Id be planning the next fix and usually that would involve chocolate!

Since I have read Marisa Peer's book and listened daily to the CD so far I have left food on my plate which was unheard of, I havent had any thoughts of unhealthy snacking and if I did it quickly went away and I have barely thought about food! Hearing the word chocolate no longer makes me want to run to the shop!!

Fantastic is what I would say - for the 1st time in my life Ive had a bag of almonds in my drawer and not eaten them all in one go which I was scared about when I bought them as I hadnt actually tested my willpower that directly. This is proof that this is real and works!! I have only eaten a few as a protein snack all day!!-the bag wouldnt have lasted 5 minutes before!

Honestly, I can safely say that this is a MUST BUY!!! If you buy any book related to this subject make it this one!

I started reading through this book with an element of scepticism, how could a book change my life!!! Well it has, I listened to the Audio CD and read through each chapter of the book, and after just four weeks I have lost 16 pounds. My whole outlook and relationship with food has completely changed and I feel fantastic. In one of the exercises Visualisation, I actually tasted the lemon in my mouth, amazing how powerful the mind is - Anyone who can give this book a bad review clearly has not allowed themselves to understand their own minds and obviously was not ready to take those all important steps of controlling their relationship with food.
