Rating: - The Only Book You Will Need To Acheive a Pro Finish
This book really is the Ultimate Guide. Rae is very generous and gives you fantastic tips. I love her no nonsense approach; she is honest and doesn't try to push any particular brand (which is refreshing). I was looking for something that would help me improve my skills to achieve a proffesional finish and introduce me to more looks. I have to say that this has done the trick and friends have already commented on my skills.
Rae's step by step guides are very easy to follow, the layout is perfect and easy to read and the pictures are fabulous. This woman knows what she is talking about.
So if you are looking to really improve your skills this is the book for you, I cannot recommend it enough, buy it.

Rating: - Bold and fantastic book!!
If your into make-up already and can do more than just put a bit of mascara and eyeshadow on this book is definatly for you! there are some great looks in here that would suit every occasion possible. I particularly liked the black and white retro dsign. I have tried to something similar before but it just didnt work. Now it has been explained like this it all seems so much clearer!

Great quality pictures- if your gonna choose a make-up book then go for this one! The clarity of explanation is great. It contains extremely modern styles unlike a lot of make up books i have seen in the past which appear extremly old fashioned

This book is truly excellent. From the way it is put together, the style of writing, the quality of the photography - everything has been so well considered and finished to such a high standard. It's a joy to read, but much more importantly the information is super useful, fabulously detailed and really, really effective. I would say that any aspiring make up artist, like myself, simply cannot afford to be without this book. I consider it my bible, as it absolutely does what it says on the cover - it is indeed the ultimate guide!
