I have read many self help books over the years and this one is the best by far. It explains how self esteem issues are born from past negative experiences and shows you how to overcome this.
I urge anyone suffering from low self esteem to buy this book it really does help

I have dozens of self help books, and can honestly say that this has been the most useful of them all. I now understand what causes low self esteem and how to resolve it.

This book has helped me to make profound changes in my life. Although I am not completely "cured" of low self esteem, it is continually growing and every day is a small victory for me.

I trully believe that this book will be helpful to almost everyone.

WOW! An excellent way of helping somebody with a low self esteem, the cycles are brilliant and even just the content is reassuring, it helps you to uncover from past experiences why you have it and how to overcome these negative effects, a brilliant guide to 'Overcoming low self esteem'!

This book has a very practical emphasis and is written in layman's terms with a definition of what self esteem is, followed by examples of how this is established in early life with a series of step by step exercises to correct negative thought patterns. I recommend this book for the clarity of language used and lack of jargon which enables the reader to be their own therapist and recognise whether the book will be enough or if further help is needed.

As a General Practitioner, I have found this book to be extraordinarily helpful; it is in our patient library and I regularly recommend it to patients.

The style is easy to read and the approach very good for self help. Changing your beliefs and views about self can be very difficult, but this book enables you to break the process down into manageable parts, and facilitates a stepwise progression to greater self esteem and a more positive mental attitude and health. Highly recommended
