This is a brilliant book about the pain and deep sadness of infertility, and the medical procedures involved to try to have a baby.It is written with honesty and shows the despair, doubt and anger, when despite all the medical intervention, IVF does not work for her.She also explores the deep distress of miscarriage and the insensitivity of some doctors. However it is a very uplifting book as well, as the author eventually decides to accept her fate and not waste the rest of her life striving for something that was not to be. She and her partner still want children in their life and adopt two girls from Guatamala.
