Rating: - Nothing to do with cosmic ordering, but....
When I first heard about this book, I had no intention of reading it! I felt that (like others) Noel Edmonds was simply cashing in on the 'comsic ordering' craze. I also felt that someone like Edmonds was far too cheesy to take seriously as a guru of positivity! It was only after reading all the favourable reviews that I decided I had better give it a go and see for myself.

I have to admit that my first impressions were wrong. Firstly, the book actually gives only the briefest of mentions to cosmic ordering and has very little to do with the subject. In this respect the book's subtitle, "Cosmic ways to change your life", is a little misleading. (This may be a publishing gimmick, to coincide with the cosmic ordering craze and thereby boost sales!) And secondly, Edmonds actually comes across as a very well-grounded and sensible person who has clearly benefited from adopting a positive attitude.

This book actually felt, to me, like two books in one. Part biography and part self-help guide to positivity. Each chapter gives examples from the author's life experiences and ends with key pointers to living a positive lifestyle.

I was left with the strong impression that Noel Edmonds knows what he's talking about. After all, whether you like him as an entertainer or not, there's no doubt that the man has done well for himself!

Perhaps he has got something to teach us after all? This is not an earth-shattering work, but nevertheless a pleasant read. if you do buy this book though, don't expect a guide to cosmic ordering!

Rating: - A MAESTRO AT WORK
A great little book that manages to claw back the reputation of one of TV's doyens of adult entertainment. Without doubt this shows us how we can turn our own lives around, because if this man can manage to do that after all he has endured, then surely he is an example to us all. This is what his book is all about, forget the mumbo-jumbo the press feed us, this man is far superior to all of that nonsense. The book is a piece of art, it stands alone as it is not all about cosmic ordering, it is about what cosmic ordering has brought about in this man's life.

Rating: - This man gives us hope
WOW! This man's writing gives us hope, so why do people have to knock him, what's wrong with them? They are negative minded people! I loved this book and would like to emulate Noel Edmonds, even achieving one tenth of what he has achieved would be great.

His book is a serious work, not for the few negative people still left around. Don't even compare him to the likes of Jim Davison or Bernard Manning, they couldn't match what this man has achieved, nor endure the pains he has went through to get where he is. Noel is a true survivior, so take note of what he says.

Rating: - Despair
Do you ever look at some of the books apparently selling well on this site, and the customer comments about them, and feel a mixture of incredulity and despair at the stupidity of the public? Presumably the people buying this are the same mugs who went mad for 'The Celestine Prophecy' about a decade ago.

Here we have Noel Edmonds telling us how to make our lives and the world around us better. Stunningly, this is actually meant to be a serious book; I had assumed it was a joke, but no. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. If I ever felt tempted to look to someone like Noel Edmonds or a fad like 'cosmic ordering' for guidance, I'd know it was time to throw myself off the nearest cliff. Congratulations to everyone who has bought this, for lining the pockets of a man for whom no act is too low and no stunt too tasteless in his quest for fame and fortune.

What's next, I wonder? "Jim Davidson Explains The Meaning Of Life"? "Bernard Manning's Guide To A Tolerant And Caring Society"?

Rating: - Marvellous!
It's difficult, having lived through "the Edmonds saga" to comprehend how a person can metamorphosise from the callow, shallow self-obsessed earlier Edmonds to the truly inspirational moral leader portrayed in this tremendous tour-de-force.

Wearing the mantle of humility as if freshly emerged from a phone box Edmonds' rousing paean to the self has certainly stirred me to some changes in the way I look at and approach the world. I just can't wait for the sequel!
