Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - a must have for moms of night wakers
This book gave me a ton of information. I didn't think at first that some of the simple advice in the book would work. Boy was I wrong. I started by getting my 10 month into a routine for bedtime. By following her advice I got her to stop comfort nursing so much at night. We're down to 2-3 feedings. Form 10 times. This books works and My daughter now sleeps more and doesn't wake up as much. My only regret is that I didn't get it sooner.

Reading this book has been amazing for me. I'm on the early part of this journey and still having some sleepless night BUT, from reading this book I have been made to feel like a "normal" person. I've been told for so long that co-sleeping, feeding on demand etc etc is all wrong but here I see everything I do is so normal, nothing I've been doing is bad, I'm just being a mum!
I feel such a release and more able to get on and deal with the situation now so thank you Elizabeth Pantley for sharing your thoughts, feelings, tips and ideas!



Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Do Not Waste Your Time or Money
This book is a rediculous set of ideas presented in the most patronising possible way. I have a 6-month-old who finally started to sleep through the night, no thanks to anything I read in this book. My advice to any parents struggling through sleepless nights is follow their own instincts. No two babies are alike and the ideas presented in this book worked for a small group of babies and the chances that they will work on your baby are slight. The author uses her own children as examples. She is not an expert in anything. She only reports what worked for her kids with a "aren't I the perfect mother!" tone. Please do not waste your money on this book. Follow your heart and follow your instincts. Only you know your baby and you will crack the code to a good night's sleep. Have faith and patience, and if that fails, call your doctor. He or she may be able to help.

i think like every thing a little patience is needed, we are a week into the processs now any there is a definate change in our daugthers sleeping she was co sleeping , breastfeeding(still is) but now she sleeps in her own bed in her own room, and falls back to sleep alone, before that untill we went to bed she would wake every 40 mins and have to be comforted in the hands for sometime. so there is hope and we can see that night long sleep happening before long, hang in there guys and gals

This book helped me go from waking up every 2-3 hours with my sweet little boy until he was 11 months old to him choosing a 6pm bedtime and sleeping 12-13 hours at a time. AMAZING! I am no longer a walking zombie and it has been working great for over a year and we are still breastfeeding. So, thank you!!
