- Very good but not enough pictures
I love his programme and couldn't wait for the book but I was disappointed that there weren't more pictures to show you what clothes to wear rather than just describing them however it was still nice to read as Gok is so passionate.

The pictures in this book are lovely and the tips are really helpful. Other style books don't have as many female body shapes to talk about. There are women who fall between two shapes and like similar books, Gok does not discuss them. Nevertheless having watched him on telly and knowing his style, this is a great book to own and refer to over and over agin.

I was given this book as a gift, having not seen the TV show so I don't know what this fellow's usual style is. Although there is plenty to read and consider when shopping, I'd have preferred more photos. There was a lot of written info which didn't have photos to support it, for example the talk of what kind of jeans to buy either had no photo or one that didn't show a full length shot so you could see the benefit of the wisdom.
With regard to the photography in the book, I can appreciate a certain realism in the pictures, but surely the publishers could have spent some time getting the skin tones right and fixing some of the girls up so they looked a little less tired. Realism is fine, but it's still a fashion title, isn't it? Overall though a good book for those really struggling to work out how to shop for their body - but I think most people would probably rather watch the show for the visuals.

Gok's narrative is positive & uplifting, which instantly makes you feel better about your body. An informative read with good visuals, although I would have liked a bit more detailed information on what clothes to buy. Better than most syle books!

***** I love this book! Gok is so lovely on the show. I wish there were more people on TV telling women they can look great even if they don't look like scrawny supermodels... I'm definitely a `bellisimo babe' (that means having a big belly, to you and me)!!! it was so helpful to be told what clothes I should buy and what I should avoid. a bit like going on a shopping trip with Gok himself!
