The machine is very easy to use and seems to produce good bread even if you make a few mistakes? Only issue is that the instruction book seems a little basic, especially when it comes to setting the cooking cycles? it leaves you unsure that you have set it correctly. One flaw: the beeping when it's done is pretty quiet, if you're not in the room with the machine, you're likely not to hear it. My first one cost £220 back then. It's a fantastic machine. My three top tips are: Don't use more than 25% wholemeal flour unless you like a rather heavy loaf. For a really tasty change, add 2 tablespoons each of sunflower and pumpkin seeds and use the Raisin bake programme. Try it with a sourdough starter.
