It came in very hand when during the summer we got a plague of flies in our house, everyday we were killing up to 20 each! As has been said in a previous review it does have a tendency to only stun larger flies so i then try to pick them up and fry them on the wires to ensure they aren't going to wake up again. You could also use a paper or large book to squish them once they have been stunned which is much easier ... Two of them suffered cracked frames, and all of the other makes were difficult to use because of outer safety mesh. I bought The Executioner in the summer 0f 2007 and it is still going strong and performing well on the original batteries a year later.
