VHS : Claudia Schiffer: Perfectly Fit Buns
I played this tape so many times it broke! It doesnt get any better - great music, great workout, interesting video, & sexy - very motivating. I switched to DVD & couldnt find any of Claudia's on DVD so bought others but none of them have the cool music/great workout; they are boring & not much of a workout. I hope Claudia's will be made available on DVD.

VHS : Indiana Jones Gift Set (3 VHS Boxed Set: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade)
How can one not love Indiana Jones? The guy is brilliant, tough, not afraid to get his hands dirty, he doesn't mind shooting the bad guy rather than just delivering him to justice and he's a hit with the ladies. I liked the Indiana Jones movies when I was a kid, but you really can't appreciate how good they are until you've had about a decade or so of real movie watching; I mean after giving up the cartoons. Each story just gets better; Raiders of the Lost Ark is great, but a little slow, The Temple ... Read More:

VHS : Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane
I was expecting bigger and better things from writer and director Joe Carnahan because he did infact write and direct NARC! Carnahan plays the mouthy, bad talking, macho Sid French and that other guy plays his partner. A lot of bad acting equals to miscasting. The black cop was annoying. The funniest guy was Vernon who was saying his guy friend had sexual relations with Johnny Cash. A tour-de-force of bad camera work mixed with bad editing and a wooden and stilled supporting cast. I think this tries to echoe into ... Read More:

The owner of the video store warned us about this movie - it only appeals to a certain segment of the population, he told us. He was right. Among the audience I watched it with, half loved it and half hated it. I didn't appreciate the movie's humor because I thought it failed to develop a minimal level of empathy for the characters. As a result, I couldn't convince myself to care much as they moved from debacle to debacle. Not very entertaining in my opinion, but it seems to appeal to some, especially those that ... Read More:

After reading two short books on the history of Scotland, I saw this version of "Kidnapped" again. Wonderful. It is a good, fun film and the historical niceties of the director are amazing. Anyone who enjoys it might even enjoy it more after reading a bit of Scottish history and looking at it again. This is a true classic film--wish Disney would put it out on DVD !!
