| The new "Christy" was ok. But the original cast with Kelly Martin and Tyn Daly will alway be Christy and Miss Alice. I just thought that the girl they got to play Christy was so bland and calm when the Character was actually a little more fiesty. But that wasn't even my main problem with it. My problem was that they had replaced all the character's which is fine, but if your going to do that. Then replace all that characters. | Strategic Air Command represents the greatest aerial photography and symphonic music since the Resurrection. Except for perhaps my Wedding Night, THIS is pure Heaven to an airplane guy. It got me seeking to be in SAC, which a deaf ear squashed. It continued to push me to a Degree in Aeronautical Engineering and 5 years in B-1 Flight test.

This song, and a pretty good version of "Chain Gang" make this movie unforgettable. | I have not seen the Cary Grant version so I had little to compare this predictable chickflick with. In fact the first 40 minutes or so can pretty much be skipped. I'd say the film even starts when Katherine Hepburn appears on the scene. She lends the movie its spine, the very reason our two protagonists come together, and the movie is a very decent romantic story from then on, with an occasional tinge of humor. | When I was little, I could watch this movie over and over without ever getting tired of it. Today, I still think it's a great movie to teach children values(not in a very subtle way, but who cares?) such as the importance of caring for other people and that being the best at everything is not so crucial as long as you stay true to yourself. A traditional tale of the triumph of good over evil, Care Bears 2 is a very cute and often funny movie that is sure to put a smile on the faces of your littles ones. |
