| Granted the Irish are "the horse people" but this is a great video documentary. Kids love it adults too! I have loaned my copy out more times than any other in my collection. Everyone has thanked me. It is a history lesson of both horses and Ireland. Anyone with an interest in either will enjoy this tape. Very entertaining and informative. |

| ok first of all the people that rated this movie low are probly hicks for south werever or nerds that never get out. This movie hits right at home here in cailiforia. this movie is so great on so many levels. with lots of hidden meanings. even the alien him self is a hidden meaning. i think over all i still dont get this movie . even I have seen about 6 times. this movie deals with struggling teens dark or(james duval)just wants to be loved. people have to rember when this movie was made and how many ... | This is one of my all time favorites. Tender enough to be sweet but funny as heck. I don't think the cursing kids would be permited in a movie today in our PC world, but in this '82 movie it not only worked, it was funny! If you haven't seen this gem-rent it. If you have seen it-good for you-bet you'd like to see it again. Watching this movie is coming home to milk & cookies! |

| While this pic is set during the VietNam war, it is still very relevant today with what is going on in the world. I feel it is an accurate depiction of the horrors of war, the lonliness of the soldiers and nurses and the compassion of the military personnel. Ken Wahl and Cheryl Ladd are excellent as the leads and your heart aches for them when they are apart and then finally reunited. The reunion never fails to bring tears to my eyes. This should be seen by all. |

| I saw this movie for the first time when I was five(1989)and I have loved it ever since! I remember that I couldn't get the wonderful music out of my head for days. The classical music really sticks with you. As a child, I loved the fairytale aspect of the film but now, it's the music that really draws me in. Unfortunately, the video store that I used to rent it at closed and I couldn't find the video anywhere. So here I am searching for it and, HOORAY!, I found it!
