| No need to buy this DVD, a Panavision title released in pan & scan? Yep, we're back in the stone age. Columbia pictures should be ashamed, heaping this crap on the public,the movie is no classic, but it's worth a look, but this transfer is awful. At least you get the opening credits in letterbox ;) |

| How can one not love Indiana Jones? The guy is brilliant, tough, not afraid to get his hands dirty, he doesn't mind shooting the bad guy rather than just delivering him to justice and he's a hit with the ladies. I liked the Indiana Jones movies when I was a kid, but you really can't appreciate how good they are until you've had about a decade or so of real movie watching; I mean after giving up the cartoons. | I was expecting bigger and better things from writer and director Joe Carnahan because he did infact write and direct NARC! Carnahan plays the mouthy, bad talking, macho Sid French and that other guy plays his partner. A lot of bad acting equals to miscasting. The black cop was annoying. The funniest guy was Vernon who was saying his guy friend had sexual relations with Johnny Cash. A tour-de-force of bad camera work mixed with bad editing and a wooden and stilled supporting cast. | Not a typical war movie and difiniteley not a "feel good" story. This is not a war movie crammed with unlikely battle scenes, heroic "citizen soldiers", or wisecracking warriors. The action is sparse and concentrated in just a few, brief minutes of the film. The casting is near perfect as is the acting and photography. | This is a really cute movie. My 4 year old girl and my 7 year old boy both like it. It has just enough adventure and funny stuff that even he thinks its cool. Any MK and Ashley fan will love it. |

| i really didn't expect much when i first watched this movie. As many Dietrich fans will attest, Miss Dietrich is normally by far the best part of many of her movies. This one, however, is an exception. All parts are played by able actors, and the story itself is quite good. John Wayne is good in his role, even if he really doesn't have to stretch much in the role. Miss Dietrich offers one of her best, yet subtle, presentations. | I want to thank Mr. Ritchie for a film that will be with me for the rest of my life. I only hope that it comes out on DVD sometime. I have a hard time believing that anyone could walk away from this film and think that you have to love skiing to enjoy this film. I hate to ski and I hate snow. |

| This is a very watchable movie that succeeds because of: a) bravo performances by James Caan (as always) and Mandy Patinkin; b) a solid storyline; and c) the fact that the movie does not try to take itself too seriously even as it makes some social and political points. In effect, this movie is racial politics wrapped in equal parts science fiction and a satirical cop thriller. The amazing thing is, it works--this movie is a brisk and enjoyable viewing experience.
