| Every year on thanksgiving after we've had our turkey dinner and cleaned up the kitchen, my family and I sit down and watch White Christmas together. This is a tradition we have had for as long as i can remember. I have seen this movie many many times over the years. I usually watch it at least 2-3 times during the christmas season. | I feel tricked and used. After waiting decades to enjoy this film the way I saw it in the movie theater as a child, what does Disney do? They glibly release the DVD in fullscreen format, even going so far as to list one of the "Special Features" on the jacket as "Fullscreen (1.33:1)". | I just spent a couple of hours looking at this wonderful movie and the extra features. The aptly named Masterpiece Edition is worth every penny, and like The Matrix, should be included in any movie collection, whether you have a child to hide behind or not. | After reading two short books on the history of Scotland, I saw this version of "Kidnapped" again. Wonderful. It is a good, fun film and the historical niceties of the director are amazing. Anyone who enjoys it might even enjoy it more after reading a bit of Scottish history and looking at it again. This is a true classic film--wish Disney would put it out on DVD !! |

| I remember liking this movie as a child, so I must believe that it is still a good children's movie. However, this is definitely a "B" list movie from Rankin-Bass, and doesn't have the charm, music, or cohesion of their "A" list movies--"Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer," "The Year Without a Santa Claus," and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Adults will be disappointed with this movie, because it seems stilted and thrown together. | This is a great video. It shows many dinosaurs, and my daughter (2 yrs old) loved the dinosaur egg! (she call this the egg movie). It is also informative. What I like the most is that the paleontologist, whom the class meets at an escavation site, is a woman with a sense of humor and great enthusism for her search. It is a realistic and great female role model, not the fake token woman scientist in science fiction movies. |

Although somewhat farfetched in its actually abilities to through rocks all the way up a mountain, it gets the kids thinking about a cleaner way to power up! And they are our tomorrow, so who knows what they will do when they are grown. Teaching our kids environmentally friendly attitudes is the first step! |
