| I found this to be a coherent and easy to read book in which Devra Davis presents a logical explanation of various kinds causes of cancer from industry to personal products. The general public needs this kind of information in order to avoid cancer causing materials as much as possible, and to learn the truth about some research. The statement that of all the billions of dollars that the Cancer Sociey has raised only ten per cent goes to research is an eye opener. |

| This book has been very useful as I go through chemo. Although I have had some nausea, with the help of this book, I have energy, and am able to keep exercising, and keep teaching even in the midst of chemo. This is not a fluffy book. The first sections are the best guide in micro and macro-nutruients for the layperson that I have read. (I should explain that I have a teaching license for biology, physics, and chemistry.) | This was one of the best books I have read in the course of my dissertation work. I'd say it is a must read for anyone in the health care profession, as well as patients battling chronic symptoms. The book is a reminder that we need to remember the PERSON who is the patient. |

| I am currently studying in a naturopathic program and am constantly purchasing new books on alternative health, not just for cancer, but other disorders. That being said, I have accumulated quite a library.
